YEREVAN — Romanos Petrosyan, acting manager of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), has announced that Firebird AI has made its first payment to the electricity distributor, paying more than 244 million drams (including VAT) for approximately 6 million kilowatt-hours of electricity consumed.
Petrosyan noted that the company is currently operating at only a small fraction of its planned production capacity.
“The simultaneous development of high-tech industries and the energy sector in our country is essential. The enormous direct and multiplier effects of Firebird’s Hrazdan facility on various sectors of our economy are clear evidence of this,” Petrosyan wrote.
He emphasized that the development of high-tech manufacturing and energy infrastructure must proceed together to support Armenia’s economic growth.
