Armenian-Turkish Business Forum Opens in Yerevan

YEREVAN — A two-day forum bringing together representatives of the Armenian and Turkish business communities has opened in Yerevan.

The event was organized by the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia as part of the EU-funded program “Support to Armenia-Turkey Normalization: Strengthening Cross-Border Relations.”

The forum aims to bring together representatives of the business communities and government institutions of Armenia and Turkey to discuss opportunities for economic cooperation, identify new areas and formats for collaboration, and promote the establishment of new business ties and partnerships.

The event will feature discussions and meetings focusing on the potential for bilateral economic cooperation, the development of business ties and opportunities for cross-border collaboration.

Research findings on opportunities and existing obstacles to road transportation between Armenia and Turkey will also be presented. Participants will discuss the next steps in Armenian-Turkish economic cooperation.

In addition, bilateral business-to-business (B2B) meetings will bring together representatives of the information technology and tourism sectors from the two countries.
