TALINN — Armenian shooter Hayk Minasyan won a gold medal at the Running Target World Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.
Minasyan scored 384 points to claim first place in the men’s individual mixed-run running target event.
In the team competition, Minasyan, Hovhannes Margaryan and Gor Khachatryan finished second, earning silver medals at the World Championships.
Armenia’s Aida Azatyan also won gold in the junior competition. She scored 379 points to take first place in the girls’ mixed-run running target event.
In the team competition, Azatyan, Anahit Sargsyan and Lilit Mkrtchyan recorded a combined score of 1,095 points to finish second and win silver medals.
