NICOSIA — On April 22, defense consultations between Armenia and Cyprus, as well as trilateral consultations between Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus, were held in Cyprus. The Armenian delegation was led by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense.
During the consultations, participants discussed the current state of bilateral and trilateral cooperation and outlined future plans. They also exchanged views on regional and international security issues, defense sector reforms, and other matters of mutual interest.
The parties highly appreciated the progress achieved in recent years. As a result of the consultations, the heads of the military cooperation departments of the three countries signed the annual bilateral Armenia–Cyprus and trilateral Armenia–Greece–Cyprus defense cooperation programs.
