Ahead of the 100th Day of the Washington Summit, Armenia and U.S. Register Progress on Implementing Agreements

YEREVAN — Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Alison Hooker.

The sides discussed the development of Armenia-U.S. strategic partnership and reaffirmed readiness to deepen cooperation in mutually relevant fields, including energy, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and investment promotion.

“I am pleased to note the dynamic political dialogue aimed at expanding the bilateral agenda, enriching our strategic partnership with new content and concrete initiatives, as well as the U.S.’s continued engagement in strengthening the peace that has been established,” Mirzoyan said.

They also reviewed progress on implementing the agreements reached on August 8 in Washington. With the symbolic 100th day of the Washington Peace Summit approaching, Mirzoyan and Hooker noted the progress achieved so far and discussed the remaining steps.

They exchanged views on preparatory work for the “Trump Track for International Peace and Prosperity,” emphasizing its significance for developing transportation corridors and other connectivity networks across a wider geography.

Mirzoyan and Hooker also discussed other regional issues.
