Hovhannes Gharibyan emphasized that the manufactured devises are used by the Armenian Ministry of Defense, but the production volumes and the factory’s capacity allow us to explore export opportunities for its products. Reference was also made to the issue of recruitment of personnel. It was noted that over the past 10 years, the company’s staff has increased almost tenfold. Employees are highly qualified mechanics, electronics specialists, physicists and programmers. There was also a proposal by the Ministry to implement a joint project in engineering education.

During the meeting, the possibilities of expansion of production areas, creation of new infrastructures, options for their implementation were discussed.

Mkhitar Hayrapetyan expressed his support for the creation of new infrastructures, emphasized the implementation of programs aimed at the permanent development and expansion of the military industry sector.

Since 2018, the funds provided for scientific and technical research in the defense sector have increased several times, as a result of which a number of Armenian companies of the military-industrial complex, including Aragats LLC, have expanded the scope of development and production volumes.
