ANKARA — Vice President of the United States Joe Biden, currently on an official visit to Ankara, gave “a lesson in democracy” to President of Turkey Recep Erdogan.
This happened after Turkish President once again raised the issue of extradiction of his USA-based ideological opponent Fethullah Gülen.
“Voice of America” Armenian Service shared a part of Biden’s speech, which shows that US Vice President in fact taught democracy to Erdogan, explaining that executive and judicial powers are separate in America.
“I believe it is hard for your people to understand this,” Biden said.
