Modern day scammers employ a wide variety of refined techniques and scenarios in their mission to take advantage of well-meaning community members. The goal of “Smarter than a Scammer” is to educate residents so they are empowered to avoid being swindled and scammed.

Representatives from the Social Security Administration, Department of Consumer Affairs, and Adult Protective Services will also be speaking.
