BEIRUT — Armenian Defense Ministry Delegation headed by Chief of the Department of Defense Policy Levon Ayvazian is visiting Lebanon November 25-28. The delegation had meetings with Lebanese high-ranking officials, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Lebanon Calid Salmen, Deputy Chief of Staff, Brigade General Manuel Kirejyan and other officials.
The parties focused on development and deepening of cooperation between the Lebanese and Armenian Armed Forces, current situation in the region and matters of bilateral interest.
Military cooperation plan for 2016 between the Armed Forces of the two countries was signed within the framework of the visit.
During the trip, the Armenian MOD delegation also visited the special and several other subdivisions of the Lebanese Air Force.
