Armenia’s Ministry of Defense to Establish Cybersecurity Center

YEREVAN – The Defense Ministry of the Republic of Armenia and “YCRDI” CJSC have initiated the project of establishing a cybersecurity center “High Tech”. It aims to ensure the creation and application of high technological solutions in the defense system thus using servicemen’s professional competencies more fruitfully during the compulsory military service.

“The Ministry takes mutually profitable steps of cooperation with high­tech companies to face the challenges in the sphere of Information security”. The Information and Public Relations Department of the Defense Ministry has said in an official statement.

The center will open in 2015.
