ZURICH — Armenia has advanced eight spots in the new International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) World Ranking to the 30th position. The standing is the highest achieved by the nation since it joined international soccer in the mid-1990s.
Even though Armenia have not played any games recently, their points have climbed from 716 to 771 in the new World Ranking.
There are no changes in the top 25. Current World and Euro champion Spain retained their No.1 places with 1507 points. They were followed by Germany and Argentina as no. 2 and no.3 respectively. Other two at top 5 were Colombia at No. 4 and Portugal at No. 5.
