YEREVAN — Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Alexander Tieman, head of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) mission to Armenia.
Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the close cooperation established between the Armenian government and the IMF, as well as the programs being jointly implemented in Armenia. He noted that cooperation with the IMF contributes to the effective implementation of the government’s reform agenda.
Tieman highlighted the effectiveness of cooperation with the Armenian government and noted that the IMF is also interested in consistently advancing the two sides’ joint agenda.
The two discussed ongoing cooperation and future programs, as well as major economic developments and key areas of fiscal policy.
They also exchanged views on developments in the region, including infrastructure projects.
