YEREVAN — The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra concluded its 20th anniversary concert season with a gala performance attended by approximately 13,000 people.

On the evening of July 21, the Cafesjian Sculpture Garden at Yerevan’s Cascade Complex was transformed into a large open-air concert hall. The orchestra marked the conclusion of its anniversary season with a memorable evening of music for thousands of concertgoers.

Under the direction of Maestro Sergey Smbatyan, the audience enjoyed some of the finest works of international classical music, along with performances from several of the orchestra’s most popular projects.

The open-air gala once again demonstrated the power of symphonic music to bring thousands of people together and create an exceptional cultural atmosphere in the heart of Yerevan.

Earlier, on April 14, more than 7,000 music lovers attended a concert featuring the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and world-renowned pianist Lang Lang at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex.

The orchestra is now preparing for a new concert season featuring new projects, performances, and musical discoveries.
