WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his support for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, saying the Armenian leader is making his country stronger, wealthier, and more secure.
“Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia, my great friend and leader, is making his country strong, rich, and very safe,” Trump wrote. “Nikol fully shares my vision of peace and prosperity for Armenia and the entire South Caucasus region.”
Trump also referred to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s recent visit to Armenia, during which, he said, several important agreements were advanced between the two countries.
“Soon, the United States and Armenia will together lay the foundation for the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity, which will transform the South Caucasus and help our great American energy companies gain access from Central Asia to the United States,” Trump said.
“For these reasons, Nikol has my complete and total support for reelection on June 7, 2026,” Trump added. “With Nikol’s help, we will take the United States, Armenia, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia to greater heights than ever before. Make Armenia Great Again — MAGA!”
