Armenia’s Economic Activity Index Increased by 7.1% in January-April

YEREVAN — Information on the implementation of Armenia’s 2026 state budget for January-April has been published.

In January-April 2026, state budget revenues totaled 1.128 trillion drams. Compared with the same period last year, revenues increased by 13.7 percent, or 135.7 billion drams.

State budget expenditures totaled 1.002 trillion drams during the same period, increasing by 7.6 percent, or 70.8 billion drams, compared with January-April of the previous year.

As a result, Armenia’s state budget recorded a surplus of 125.8 billion drams in January-April 2026, compared with a surplus of 60.9 billion drams in the same period last year.
