YEREVAN — Armenia’s 1,000 largest taxpayers contributed more than 459.27 billion drams to the state budget in the first quarter of 2026, marking an approximate 12.2% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to official data published by the State Revenue Committee (SRC), payments made by major companies from January to March increased by nearly 50 billion drams, compared to 409.3 billion drams in the first quarter of the previous year. Of the total, more than 380.3 billion drams were collected by tax authorities, while revenues through customs authorities exceeded 78.9 billion drams.
The list of top taxpayers is largely dominated by companies operating in the energy sector, mining industry, tobacco production, information technology, as well as e-commerce, retail trade, and financial services.
According to the SRC, the list is topped by “Mobile Center Art,” a company engaged in the import and sale of mobile phones, which paid 21.3 billion drams to the state budget. It is followed by “Gazprom Armenia” with 19.7 billion drams, while the “Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine” ranks third, contributing 15.4 billion drams.
