CAIRO — Armenian gymnast Hamlet Manukyan won the gold medal at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Cairo after delivering the top performance in the pommel horse final.
Manukyan posted the highest score of the final, earning 14.800 points to secure first place.
Armenia’s other representative, Artur Avetisyan, claimed the silver medal, finishing second in the rings final with a score of 14.300 points.
Tomorrow, Armenia’s Olympic silver and bronze medalist, world champion, and three-time European champion Artur Davtyan will compete in the vault final of the fourth stage of the World Cup.
