MUSCAT – During his official visit to Oman, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan attended the official opening ceremony of Armenia’s embassy in Muscat. The Armenian national flag was raised in front of the embassy building.
The event was attended by Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, along with diplomatic representatives accredited in Oman and members of the Armenian community.
Mirzoyan presented the embassy to his Omani counterpart, followed by a brief discussion between the delegations.
In his remarks, Mirzoyan emphasized:
“The decision to establish a permanent embassy in Muscat reflects the effective and meaningful cooperation between our two countries and demonstrates our commitment to deepening political dialogue. Beyond its symbolic significance, the opening is also a practical step toward realizing the full potential of our partnership and strengthening cooperation in economic, educational, and cultural spheres.”
