YEREVAN — Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the government cannot make decisions that would undermine the established peace with Azerbaijan.
He made these remarks during the conference titled “Inclusive Development: Achievements and Challenges,” addressing issues related to individuals displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
“We cannot make decisions that would destabilize or collapse the peace established with Azerbaijan, or return us to a logic of conflict,” the Prime Minister said.
According to Pashinyan, displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, in the person of the Republic of Armenia, have a state.
“The period of wandering and uncertainty must come to an end. Our entire strategy is based on ensuring that you settle in Armenia—both physically and psychologically—and that together we strengthen this state, which is a great blessing for the Armenian people,” he said.
“Our goal is to move beyond a survival mindset toward one of prosperity, development, and peace, making our country more secure and stable for all,” Pashinyan concluded.
