BRUNSSUM – A delegation led by Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, visited the NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum.
According to a statement released by Armenia’s Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Asryan held a private meeting with the Commander of NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, General Ingo Gerhartz.
The one-on-one discussion was followed by an expanded meeting between the two delegations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to Armenia–NATO partnership and regional security.
Lieutenant General Asryan presented the key directions of the transformation of the Armenian Armed Forces, emphasizing the important role of Armenia–NATO cooperation in this process.
