Azerbaijani Civil Society Representatives Arrive in Armenia via Demarcated Land Border Section

DAVUSH — On February 13–14, 2026, a bilateral roundtable will take place in Armenia within the framework of the “Bridge of Peace” initiative, bringing together representatives of Armenian and Azerbaijani civil society.

In addition to the core participants of the “Bridge of Peace” initiative, a broader group of representatives from both sides will also take part in the roundtable discussions.

The Armenian Council reported that the Azerbaijani delegation arrived in Armenia through a demarcated and delineated section of the land border, completing all relevant procedures. This is considered an important practical step toward strengthening confidence between the two countries.

During the discussions, representatives of Armenian and Azerbaijani civil society will address processes stemming from the peace agenda endorsed at the August 8, 2025 Washington summit.

Separate sessions will focus on the emerging regional security architecture, the benefits of peace, public perceptions regarding the normalization of relations between the two societies, prospects for economic cooperation, as well as the role of civil society in promoting mutual understanding and strengthening trust.
