YEREVAN –The Moloyan Journalism Initiative is proud to announce the launch of the “Gabriel Moloyan” Scholarship at the Yerevan State University (YSU) Faculty of Journalism. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, and strong commitment to ethical and free press. The Initiative aims to support and encourage future journalists who are poised to make significant impacts in the field.
The initiation of the “Gabriel Moloyan” Scholarship followed the recent 25th Anniversary celebration of YSU’s Faculty of Journalism in 2024. With initiatives such as the upcoming fact-checking laboratory in collaboration with BBC Media Action and various media partnerships, the faculty remains at the forefront of journalism education in Armenia.
