YEREVAN (Mediamax) — Doctors, nurses and doctor’s assistants of Armenian Armed Forces were awarded on Saturday, for distinguishing themselves at Saber Junction 2016 multi-national combat training held on March 29-April 22 in Germany.
Saber Junction 16 is U.S. Army Europe’s annual combat training center certification exercise designed to evaluate the readiness of one of its two combat brigades to conduct unified land operations (a simultaneous combination of offensive, defensive and stability missions), with an emphasis on tactical interoperability among allied and partner-nation forces.
Armenian First Deputy Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan and First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Enriko Apriamov thanked the medical staff for high professional readiness and active efforts, as well as timely and operative realization of their tasks.
Around 500 servicemen from 15 countries participated in Saber Junction 2016 multi-national combat training.
The participation of Armenian Armed Forces’ mobile field hospital was mostly aimed on organization of transportation of the hospital and exchange of experience, organization of providing medical aid and transportation in conditions, maximally close to actual combat, as well as bringing Armenian Armed Forces’ mobile field hospital’s document flow to NATO standards, etc.
