Armenia\’s MIKA Placed Second in Junior Eurovision Song Contest

SOFIA — Malta won the thirteenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which was held at the Arena Armeec hall in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia on Saturday evening.

Destiny Chukunyere performing the song “Not My Soul!” won with 185 points, finishing nine points ahead of the second-placed MIKA from Armenia performing “Love” song. Slovenia took the third place.

A total of seventeen countries participated in this year’s edition of the song contest.

Armenia received maximum 12 points from Georgia, the Netherlands and Belarus.

This is the second victory for Malta in the past three years after the country had won in 2013.
