YEREVAN — On October 26, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs – Ambassadors Igor Popov, James Warlick, Pierre Andrieu and Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.
The discussions continued on moving forward the peaceful resolution process of the Azerbaijani – Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The Foreign Minister of Armenia drew the Co-Chairs’ attention to the continuation of gross violations of the cease-fire regime by Azerbaijan along the border with Armenia and on the Line of Contact with Artsakh, even after the Co-Chairs made two statements in the course of the previous month.
Minister Nalbandian underlined that “Baku’s provocations on the borderlines concur with military rhetoric, threats, propaganda of animosity and hatred coming from the highest levels of Azerbaijan. The rejection of the Co-Chairs’ targeted public appeal on the creation of the mechanism of investigation of the incidents reveals Baku’s intention to undermine the efforts of Armenia and the Co-Chair countries, aimed at the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”.
