Shirak and Alashkert have qualified to the second round of UEFA Europa League tournament even after losing their second-leg matches.
Gyumri Shirak lost 2-1 against Bosnian Zrinjski Mostar but qualified on aggregate of 3-2 after beating their opponents 2-0 in the first-leg.
Alashkert also lost 2-1 against St. Johnstone FC of Scotland but qualified on away goal rule, they had beat the scottish team 1-0 in Armenia.
Armenia’s third team in the tournament Ulis were disqualified after loosing at home 1-3 against Birkirkara of Malta. The teams had played to a scorless draw in Malta last week.
In the second round Shirak will play against AIK Solna of Sweden and Alashkert will play against FC Kairat Almaty of Kazakhistan.
