TASHKENT — London 2012 bronze medalist and 2013 world runner-up Armenia’s Artur Aleksanyan won gold medal in Greco-Roman Wrestling Worl Championships that are held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with a 56-second technical fall over Oliver Hassler (Germany) by a score of 8-0 in the 98kg final.
Alexanyan made it to the final bout after beating Ghasem Rezaei (Iran) 3:1 in the semifinals.
Alekasanyan’s win made Armenia the only country with two gold medalists in this year’s championships.
