Cher and Kim Kardashian Tweet on Kessab Events

American Armenian singer Cher (Cherilyn Sarkisian), who has more than two million followers in her Twitter blog, touched upon the events, taking place in the Armenian-populated village-town of Kessab in Syria, asking to clarify what is really going on there. “Please check out what’s going on in Kessab, Syria. Innocent Christians and Armenians being killed by Turks”, – retweeted the singer.

The Kessab events got an enormous response in different social networks. Celebrities directed their appeal to the international community to pay attention to events in Kessab. Borussia Dortmund football player Nuri Sahin of Turkish origin has posted the hashtag #SaveKessab in his Facebook profile for the sake of the Kessab.
